Product features:
VW94 alloy is a high-strength, heat-resistant magnesium alloy based on the magnesium-gadolinium-yttrium-zirconium system. Typically processed through age/solution treatment followed by aging, it is primarily used for manufacturing rolled sheets and forged components. At room temperature, its tensile strength and yield strength—along with its high-temperature instantaneous strength—are superior to those of the high-strength, heat-resistant magnesium alloy WE43. The alloy achieves a room-temperature strength exceeding 400 MPa and can withstand temperatures up to 350°C, making it one of the magnesium alloys currently reported to exhibit the best mechanical performance.
