Ultra-Light Magnesium-Lithium Alloy

Typical commercial magnesium-lithium alloys have a density comparable to plastic, yet their stiffness and toughness far exceed those of conventional plastics—while also offering exceptional shock absorption, damping properties, and ductility.

It can be applied to sound membrane foils and is one of the highly effective lightweight materials used in aerospace metal applications. This material is suitable for secondary load-bearing components as well as various types of boxes and housings, including electronic equipment casings, structural parts for optical instruments, skin panels, instrument dashboards, satellite rivets, honeycomb panels, heat pipes, laptop and smartphone casings, aiming devices, and their respective housings.
